Lingerie and football are about to hit close to home.
This is the first year the state of Minnesota had a lingerie football league, and that's what it sounds.
The LII is a leauge that women play football in the style of sand, you guessed it, lingerie. The underwear is a word that is thrown around very loosely by the league, but their rate is effective.
In fact, players wear suits two piece bathing, shoulder pads, knee pads, elbow pads and helmets.
Plymouth native Kendra Leigh Ruff is a roster of the players' Valkyrie of Minnesota. Ruff plays defense, and from time to time, a crime.
Ruff has a background in sports, made up of hockey and Mix Martial Arts. So why become a member of LFL?
"Actually, I'd like to return to the team," Ruff said. "I used to play hockey, and this is the closest thing to the women to play at the professional level, which is in contact."
